Abstract

Schools in Lebanon have made important steps in developing Education in recent years; and

this is, no doubt, a respectable factor that influences school reputation and consequently

parents’ school choice. The purpose of the study is to analyze other factors that influence

parents’ decision in school choice due to its reputation as a result of the implementation of the

Quality Management System. The Quality Management System creates a high level of

excellence internally and externally, internally through the responsibility and the commitment

of the management as quality leadership, the students focus and the continual improvement;

and externally through national and international official recognition for the sake of

Stakeholders’ satisfaction.

Both education and Quality Management System create school reputation and maintain its

continual success. A qualitative research shows the description of the present status of the

school, consisting of 3 surveys questionnaire for parents, teachers and administrative staff. The

comparative analyses in the assessment phase confirm clearly the needs of the implementation

of the Quality Management System to upgrade the school to the utmost level; despite several

limitations, this implementation is an essential improvement for its progressive impact on the
